SEC Live Webcast on "Black Pool" trading 10/21 10am
If you are free at 10 am tomorrow, you should give this a watch. “Black pool” is largely unregulated trading that happens outside the public exchange and bank/firm arenas. The SEC is trying to “lighten it up,” by making more info available to the public and generally regulating practices within the “pools”. I have a friend working on these very regulations. Pretty interesting stuff.
