Cool things about Life now.
Law School
- The guy who sits behind me in Contracts (Doug) is Garrison Keillor’s second cousin.
- There are words in my textbook that fuel hours of mid-study laughter outside starbucks with Chris, like shewed, scrivener, poved, exchequer, etc
- Tonight I shared the most beautiful long walk/talk from campus to my neighborhood liquor store for free Friday wine tasting.
- I spent Thursday night baking tuna biscuits for Friday morning study group
- During said study group, someone in the room said “contra proferentum” and the room erupted in laughter. Why?
- Prof. Figley gives out loose change for really good answers in Torts class
- On any given day, there is either free lunch or dinner on campus
- My friends are the smartest people I’ve ever met
Other
- There are two full wine racks in my apartment right now
- Today I rocked a sweater/skirt combination and wasn’t hot, nor cold
- I can see all the way to Virginia from my roof
- Obama’s kids go to school in my neighborhood
- We saw The Pains of Being Pure at Heart live for free at Black Cat Wednesday night. I danced! It was stellar.
