4:45 am?
Dunno why but I woke up a little bit ago, super pumped and ready to go. Too bad the day isn’t ready for me yet. Today is the first day of law school. My 1L year. This fact in itself is strange to behold, because in the three weeks I have been in D.C., so much has already happened at school. There’s been gossip and romance and cathedrals, classroom terror and revelation and complete mindnumbing boredom. I can only imagine what the rest of this year will entail.
It’s kind of freaking me out that sooooo many people from my past are moving to D.C. right now, temporarily or otherwise. Just in the last two days, I’ve found out three of my peeps from AED (pre-med honor society in college) are here or on their way here in the next week. It’s exciting for sure; I just hope we reconnect and don’t do that awkward thing where we exist in the same city, a mere three metro stops apart, for months without making the proper efforts to meet.
Anyway, I think I’ll review some contract law in these hours before life starts.
